The quartet, born from the encounter of young musicians from Calabria, proposes the original project "Above All" deriving from the exchange and interaction between various genres and musical styles, alternating with original compositions from the innovative mold, some of the most sought after standards of jazz.
The focus of the quartet is to highlight, through an absolutely original interpretation and a new sensitivity, the beauty of the heritage of which jazz holds, a spokesman for respect for diversity and human creativity.
The very name of the project, "Above All", is not a case but a message, since it makes use of the same sense of unity and sharing expressed musically, to communicate to the listener, with the help of the stories told in the texts, the hope that in modern society always prevails and "overall things" values like loyalty, respect and love.
