Copyright and related rights. Foundations, Protection and Practical Applications
Copyright protects the works of creative ingenuity, guaranteeing the author control over the use and dissemination of his work.
It includes moral rights, linked to the patrality and integrity of the work and property rights (economic exploitation). Next to it, the so-called related rights protect subjects such as artists, performers and producers.

Artificial intelligence and music: Evolution of production, discography and copyright.
The impact of artificial intelligence is transforming creative processes into musical production, introducing new instruments of composition and arrangement.
IA-based technologies are redefining the role of artists, producers and record companies.
Legal issues, opportunities and future scenarios.

"CALABRIA JAZZ MEETING AWARD 2026 – X EDITION"

The Calabria Jazz Meeting Award will be presented to the Calabrian musician who has distinguished himself during the year and deserves to be "Personal of the Year". The Award, realized thanks to the patronage and the contribution of ACEP and MIC, is dedicated to the unforgettable Marco Tamburini, a musician among the most representative of the national jazz scene (trombettista from the countless important collaborations, in the jazz field but also in the pop one, and from the great experience also as didatta), tragically disappeared a few years ago.

19:30 am – Palazzo Sersale
"CONCERT – SHOW CASE"
LORENZO IORIO TRIO meets ANDREA PATERNOSTRO – "Tuning the Life"
Featuring: Andrea Paternostro, sax | Lorenzo Iorio, guitar | Alessio Iorio, bass | Maurizio Mirabelli, battery
"Tuning the Life" is the new recording project by Lorenzo Iorio Quartet, a work entirely composed of original songs signed by musician Lorenzo Iorio and released in June for the label Filibusta Records of Rome. "Tuning the Life" moves along an aesthetic line that embraces the tradition of jazz, without giving up an open look towards the most contemporary sounds.
A balanced and personal work emerges, in which composition and improvisation constantly dialogue, giving life to an intense and dynamic musical tale.
