Open applications for "Luci di Borgo": artist residences on contemporary photography
The candidatures for "Luci di Borgo" are officially open, the program of artist residences dedicated to contemporary photography promoted by Rete Cinema Calabria within Cerisano Factory – Borgo Swing.
The project includes two cycles of residence in 2026, each lasting 10 days, hosted in the suggestive frame of Palazzo Sersale:
- "Volti del Borgo – Portrait as a Meeting" (20–30 May)
- "Rughe – The roots of memory" (June)
The residences are open to photographers and photographers without age or nationality and provide free hospitality, curatorial and organizational support.
The goal is to build a collective look on the village, telling through photography the processes of social and cultural transformation, the stories of the inhabitants and the identity of the places.
Participants will take part in:
- workshops and meetings with experts
- photographic exploration
- moments of confrontation with the community
The route will end with a public exhibition and the creation of a shared photographic archive.

- First cycle: application by 5 May 2026
- Second cycle: application by 5 June 2026
