Residenza Jazz is a journey into sound and in the relationship curated byAssociation Gaia.
Designed for musicians, composers and sound artists, it offers a space and time dedicated to creation, writing and musical experimentation, in continuous dialogue with the territory.
In Cerisano, jazz becomes an open language: it crosses traditions, meets the landscape, lets itself be contaminated by memory and returns new forms of expression.
During the residence, artists develop original projects through:
- writing and arrangement of songs
- open trials and moments of comparison
- recordings and music production
- public returns and concerts
The route is part of a wider ecosystem that includes the Calabria Jazz Meeting, with masterclasses, jam sessions and meetings with national and international artists.
The residence is not only musical production: it is shared experience, building networks, artistic growth and dialogue with the community.
