CERISANO (CS) – Training paths and new cultural initiatives are planned

The meetings aimed at planning the next cultural projects for the city continue in Cerisano.

After the fruitful meeting of the past weeks, Wednesday afternoon the mayor Lucio Di Gioia met, together with the city staff, various professionals and university teachers including Carlo Fanelli, Pierfrancesco Perri and Francesco Valentini.

«We are building paths, ready to take on new challenges to realize – he explained – important training and culture projects within our magnificent manor, Palazzo Sersale. The structure still interested in works and works, will soon be ready and open to the many young people, artists, students, also using the call of the Festival of the Serre or with the museum center dedicated to Fingesten and the residences of artists».

In the coming summer months, from June to September, the Summer Schools of the University are scheduled to have already had excellent feedback, so as to attract intelligence and, in parallel, enhance and promote the territory. The aim is therefore to amalgamate the activities of the call "Cerisano Factory- Borgo Swing" supported by the Ministry of Culture within the Pnrr.

Teaching distributed to modules, with lectio magistralis and laboratories to be managed during the year, reserved for university students. Summer school , courses, master's degree, also with the support of prestigious spin offs afferent to the different departments of Economics, Political Sciences, Physics.

And again, it was discussed directly funding young deserving students with scholarships. An increasingly attractive village with many activities with the University of Calabria, the Conservatorio di Cosenza and the other important partnerships with Enti and Institutions. Mayor Di Gioia, the collaborators, the Prof., the directors believe it. All together towards a new impetus of cultural promotion around the village of Serre.
