This is what emerged during the national assembly of municipalities in Turin, attended by the first citizen: "Ours is a great urban regeneration project"
CERISANO (CS) – The mayor of Cerisano, Lucio Di Gioia, participated in the 41st National Assembly ANCI organized in recent days in Turin, which this year has dedicated a special section to the Italian villages. The mayor Di Gioia represented the voice of Cerisano, sharing the experiences of the community and the initiatives undertaken to enhance the cultural and natural heritage also thanks to the funding of the Ministry of Culture on PNRR funds for the valorization of small villages. It was certainly a moment of confrontation and growth, of exchange of ideas and projects with other local administrators, with the aim of promoting the sustainable development and rebirth of Italian villages.
"About 1200 km routes to represent our wonderful village at the 41st National Assembly Anci, to tell of a major urban regeneration project, the action of a daily administrative structure to ensure opportunities, development and well-being for the whole Community. The attention, praise and recognition of the Ministry of Culture makes our mission "historical", the words of the first citizen on the sidelines of the initiative together with the mayors of Italy.
The urban regeneration project of Cerisano focuses on several key objectives and will bring many benefits to both residents and visitors. People will be able to enjoy more services, opportunities for professional and entrepreneurial growth, but also cultural and leisure. On the other hand, tourists will have the opportunity to live a renovated village but linked to its history, a place of artistic and cultural production, a space dedicated to knowledge and training, visiting historical and natural beauties of great value. "The Cerisano regeneration project is an example of how the enhancement of historical and cultural heritage can go hand in hand with sustainable development. Through an integrated and participatory approach, Cerisano is becoming a successful model for other Italian villages", emerged during the Turin National Assembly.
