Second Level Master in "Organization, leadership and human resource management" within the project "Cantiere delle Creatività – Training Factory and Co-Working"
A fundamental step towards the cultural, formative and social regeneration of the village of Cerisano was accomplished today by signing the convention between the Municipality of Cerisano, the Department of Political and Social Sciences (DiSPeS) and the Higher School of Science of Public Administrations (SSSAP) of the University of Calabria. The agreement is part of the project "Attractivity Historical Edges – PNRR Cerisano Factory", funded by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU program, within the Action Line 8 – "Realization of initiatives for increasing residential attractiveness and contrasting demographic exodus".
The heart of the intervention is the Master of II level in "Organization, Leadership and Human Resource Management", which will start in November and will take place for a year entirely within the Palazzo Sersale, regenerated into cultural and educational hubs for the territory.
"A Level II Master in Human Resource Management is a transversal intervention that meets both public and private needs," said Prof. Vincenzo Fortunato, director of SSSAP. "Prevents international level lectures from government and private companies operating in public administration, with the aim of strengthening managerial skills and leadership in complex organizational contexts. "
The Convention is an innovative model of public-public partnership based on the joint establishment of public resources and the co-management of services and activities for local development, the growth of skills and the enhancement of cultural heritage.
"The subscription of this convention is a strategic step that marks the start of a joint training path, aimed at the territory and rooted in its development needs," said Prof. Giap Parini, Director of DiSPeS of the University of Calabria. "The collaboration between universities and local administrations is not only a desirable one, but as necessary for the co-design of structural interventions aimed at promoting qualified skills, capable of significantly affecting the processes of sustainable growth and the construction of new ruling classes at the height of contemporary territorial challenges. "
The agreement, signed today by the Mayor of Cerisano Lucio Di Gioia, sanctions the conclusion of the phase of public co-design and the operational start of the activities. The overall project, called "Cerisano Factory", also includes summer school, seminars, research and post-academic training courses, with a concrete impact on residential activity and on the cultural and economic vitality of the village.
"A convention that is reached after a long and weighted design," said Mayor Di Gioia with satisfaction. "With it we realize the full operation of the cultural hub of Palazzo Sersale, destined to become a driving centre for formation, innovation and territorial valorization. The intervention strengthens the role of historical villages as generative spaces of sustainable development, promoting a structured synergy between universities and territory and contributing to the formation of new ruling classes capable of facing the challenges of contemporary life. " As part of the same intervention, the agreements are linked with the Conservatory of Musica S. Giacomantonio di Cosenza, the Department of Economics, Statistics and Finance "Giovanni Anania", the Department of Humanities Studies and the Department of Physics of the University of Calabria.
The agreement represents an innovative model of interinstitutional cooperation that invests in human capital and in the formation of new ruling classes, offering concrete opportunities to young people, professionals and citizens and contributing decisively to the cultural, social and economic vitality of Cerisano.
A virtuous example of how the PNRR, through the measure "Attractivity of the Borghi" (M1C3 – NextGenerationEU), can be translated into concrete actions for the relaunch of internal territories and local communities.
